Ibmec Rio hosted, at the Barra da Tijuca campus, the inauguration of the audio studio for the Communication program. The new space will complement the advanced audiovisual infrastructure available by the Business School to students of Journalism and Advertising and Marketing.
To develop creative and business oriented professionals, the communication courses at Ibmec allows students to have contact with practical projects since the first semester of the undergraduate program.
Recently, students of the first period had the opportunity to interview the Nobel Prize Mario Vargas Llosa, while students in the second period held an exclusive interview with former President Fernando Henrique Cardoso.
About the opening of the audio studio, the coordinator of the Communication courses, Eduardo Halpern, highlighted infrastructure as differential Ibmec has against other educational institutions.
"The opening of the studio audio crowns Ibmec's communication project. Therefore, it leaves us on the edge of the market for teaching communication in Rio de Janeiro. Today, no institution has studios as modern and well equipped as ours. That means a lot of support for teachers and students in technical subjects and the ability to offer businesses infrastructure for creating products", he said.
Besides the audio studios, Ibmec Barra offers Mac Labs equipped with the software used in the market, photo studio and lab video that is one of the most modern in the country.
